Bloodfire

This short cactus grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. The pleated stem is gray, and is covered in brittle blood red spines.

It is slow growing, taking 31 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with white petals that gradient shift to peach on the outer edge. The central disk is olive grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 60 curved petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like baby powder.

The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the purple flesh is waxy, and the lilac sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
