Blue Crescent Moss

This subtle blue moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In damp forests.
It is colossal, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is overwhelmingly delicate.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
