Yellow Clinger

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large flower grows up to 2.4 feet (74 cm) tall. Its yellow stem is very thick, and the tiny, gray-green leaves are needle-like with ripped edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Several medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with beige petals that gradient shift to yellow on the outer edge. The central disk is grey. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like grass cuttings, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
