Caramel Fern

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 27 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of thick, twisting stems covered in thin, cracked, light brown bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, perforated, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are grey with caramel tips, resistant and sticky.

In late summer it produces thick bunches of small, green flowers with asymmetrical petals. They are very delicate and have the faintest scent that smells like sweat.
