Blue Emerald Moss

This bright blue moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, In rainy mountain ranges, and In rainforests.
It is huge, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly frail; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
