Aqua Berry Tree

This small fruit tree grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 30 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 63 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a slender, slanted trunk covered in thin, wrinkled, light gray bark, and inside, the soft wood is black with white speckles.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, pleated leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are found in crimson, violet and hazel varieties.

In early spring, it produces handfuls of medium-sized, cyan blossoms with asymmetrical petals. They are hardy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like a woman.

In early winter it produces , oval fruit. The hairy sky blue skin is peel-able and spicy, and the crunchy pink flesh is sweet and very dry. The brown seeds are large and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
