Azurepetal

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its gray stems grow in bunches of 5 and are thick and straight, and the tiny, ashy purple or azure leaves are slender, pointed with wavy edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 35 cm (13.8 inches) wide, with petals that are florescent blue in the center, yellow in the middle and black at the edges. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 16 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like soap, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
