Goldenleaf

This enormous shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for around 64 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many very thick, straight stems covered in thick, smooth, dark green bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are long and thick with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of large, wide, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are gold on the edges and vibrant orange at the center, durable and waxy.

It produces many bunches of giant, dark brown flowers with long, narrow petals. They are very delicate and have a mildly strong scent that smells like skunk spray. In midwinter it forms smallblood red, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
