Coppervine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for around 21 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous branched, curved stems covered in wrinkled, mahogany-coloured bark, and the wood inside is pale brown.

The branches are very short and slender that and are covered with thick bunches of giant, wispy, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are generally orange, frail and covered in fine hairs.

It produces several small, lime flowers with 2 pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are very delicate and have a faint scent that smells like a woman. In early autumn it forms tinybrilliant red, spiky-shelled seeds.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
