Bluevine
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This big shrub grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 111 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has many wide, straight stems covered in knobbly, dark green bark, and the wood inside is gray.
The branches are very short and slender with thousands of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of huge, spear shaped, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are amber and aquamarine, rigid and waxy.
It produces large amounts of small, sky blue flowers with circular petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have a weak scent that smells like rotting meat. In mid-summer it forms giantbrilliant red, spiky-shelled seeds.
It is difficult to cut through.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
