Moss type: Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, and In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly flimsy; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.

Ivy often grows along the trunk.
It is suitable for making paper
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
