Copper

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This big caudiciform grows up to 103 feet (31.4 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is copper, and is covered in brittle black spines. The stumpy, red trunk can grow to as much as 103 feet (31.4 meters) in diameter. Its florescent green or green branches trail down across the ground.

The smooth-edged, slender, pointed leaves are sky blue on the edges and light brown at the center. They are light, but detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with beige petals and a blood red central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of 19 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like cinnamon.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the beige flesh is smooth, and the gentle blue sap is thin.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
