Bluebell
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This large shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for around 96 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has dozens of stocky, curved stems covered in smooth, light brown bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.
The branches are very short, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of small, stiff, pointed, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are found in gentle blue and purple varieties, durable and soft.
It produces several tiny, red flowers with many layers of petals. They are very delicate and have a mildly strong scent that smells like citrus. In early summer it forms smallbrown, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
