Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is slightly delicate.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
