Golden Succulent

This short cactus grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 2 thick stems. Each stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in hundreds of rigid dark brown spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are generally light grey; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour, grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of many raised, round-tipped petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like cheese.

The cactus's skin is thin, the bronze flesh is rough, and the white sap is thin.
