Bronzeleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. The pleated stem is red, and is covered in many flexible bronze spines. The knobbly leaves are found in bold blue, peach and red varieties. Small amounts of them grow on very thick, emerald branches that are short, rigid and upright. The leaves are durable, and detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 21 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are lime at the sides and lilac at the center grows at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 53 petals. It has a soft scent that smells like rich perfume.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the blue flesh is rubbery, and the aquamarine sap is thin.
