Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly light; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
