Crimson Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.

The grains are bitter, but very healthy and can be used to make numerous baked goods.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
