Caramel Blue Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This small leaf succulent grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The thin stem is burgundy, and is covered in handfuls of flexible caramel spines. The smooth-edged, pleated leaves are sky blue and caramel. Very large amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are sturdy, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 23 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid bright purple petals and a violet central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 29 curved petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the dark red flesh is waxy, and the light green sap is thin.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
