Emerald Clump Moss
Moss type: MossThis gray moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On rotten logs, In damp forests, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely flimsy; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
