Coppervine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This colossal shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 125 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, straight stems covered in fine, waxy, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with handfuls of miniature, wide, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are solid light grey or gold, with orange streaks, sturdy and leathery.

It produces a handful of giant, copper flowers with wide petals. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like garlic. In late winter it forms giantorange, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

It is suitable for making strong rope
Several parts of the tree have medicinal properties.
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
