Coppergrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This modest-sized, brown grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The 6 pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, copper spikelet.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
