Goldenleaf Succulent
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This small leaf succulent grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The wide stem is moss green, and is covered in handfuls of fine, florescent yellow, hair-like spines. The pointed leaves are blue at the bottom and gold with green lines at the top. Small amounts of them grow on slender, yellow branches that are very long, thin and wispy. The leaves are light, and take some effort to detach.
It is very slow growing, taking 28 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with gold petals that gradient shift to azure on the outer edge. The central disk is indigo grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 52 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. It has a strong scent that smells like chocolate.
The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the light purple flesh is rough, and the lilac sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
Several parts of the shrub have medicinal properties.
