Yellowgrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cyan tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for making paper
