Beige Moss

This beige or light yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, and In bogs.
It is large, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely flimsy; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores.
