Crimson Glow

This modest-sized tree grows up to 60 meters (196.9 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 96 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, straight trunk covered in cracked, brown-green bark, and inside, the very hard wood is pale yellow.

The tangled mess of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with small bunches of fuzzy, giant, long, narrow leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are solid crimson or bronze, with pink zig-zags.

In late summer it forms large, gold, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
