Cyanactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized cactus grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall. The wide stem is cyan, and is covered in handfuls of rigid subtle orange spines. The round body is emerald, and is covered in hundreds of flexible cream spines.

It is quick growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with alternating petals of orange and azure, with an indigo central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like faeces.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the dark brown flesh is waxy, and the olive sap is thin.
