This silver moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainforests.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely flimsy.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It is said to be the favourite flower of a legendary person.
It is bio-luminescent.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
