Crimson Moss

This florescent orange or crimson moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In damp forests, In heathlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely strong.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
The leaves are high in natural sugars.
It is suitable for making strong rope
