Blue Sky Moss

This deep blue or sky blue moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In marshes, In heathlands, and In moorlands.
It is large, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly flexible; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
