Bluebell

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 29 feet (8.8 meters) tall. The tapering stem is green, and is covered in lots of rigid deep blue spines. It has a wavy, bulbous, cream trunk atop a thick, gnarled clump of wrinkled, exposed roots. The branches are very thick and emerald and are very long, thin and wispy.

The rounded-edged, perforated leaves are found in blue, peach and cyan varieties. They are resistant, and detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are lilac on the edges and amber at the center grow at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is made up of 7 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has a faint scent that smells like cheese.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the caramel flesh is soft, and the caramel sap is thin.

The grass is savoury and overwhelmingly toxic and while grains are savoury and non-toxic.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
