Emerald

This gray moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
