Azure Spikeactus

This small cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stem is deep green, and is covered in sharp spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are azure on the underside and green on the top grow at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 20 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has an overpowering scent that smells like pineapple.

The cactus's skin is thick, the bold red flesh is slimy, and the caramel sap is thin.
