Indigo Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 27 feet (8.2 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 years for the brown stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The wispy, clammy leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are brown and indigo, and have wavy edges.
