Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On rotten logs, and In moorlands.
It is colossal, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores.
