Ashy Orange Creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 36 feet (11.0 meters) and growing as high as 14 feet (4.3 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The very thin, clammy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are green with ashy orange tips, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces many balls of average pink flowers, and during the early autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large fruits.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
