Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short fruit tree grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for up to 15 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 24 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in hard, ridged, silver bark, and inside, the flexible wood is gray.
The excessive amount of branches are long and slender and are covered with small bunches of tiny, very thin leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are peach and intense orange.
In early spring, it produces a handful of medium-sized, brown blossoms with 9 oval-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a powerful scent that smells like an ocean breeze.
In early summer it produces , 2 pointed fruit. The fuzzy red skin is thick and very sweet, and the soft slate flesh is salty and oily. The blood red seeds are tiny and are scattered throughout the fruit.
The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
The sap is azure.
