Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
