Blue Moss

This red or deep blue moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In damp forests, In moorlands, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores.
