Amberactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This small cactus grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 3 thick stems. Each stem is amber, and is covered in thick sheets of rigid lime spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are blood red at the sides and black at the center grows at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like rotting meat.

The cactus's skin is thin, the peach flesh is rubbery, and the brown sap is thin.

It is suitable for making paper
Before maturity, it can grow 0 per day.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
