Copperbell

This small cactus grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The tapering stem is lime green, and is covered in thick bunches of rigid gold spines. The tear-shaped body is emerald, and is covered in brittle hazel spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are blood red at the sides and black at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. It has an overpowering scent that smells like skunk spray.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the copper flesh is leathery, and the purple sap is thin.
