Bronze

This bronze moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes, and In moorlands.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
