Copper Cactus
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This small cactus grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 4 thin stems. Each stem is lime green and hazel, and is dotted with small gold spines.
It is slow growing, taking 30 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with sky blue petals on the lower layer and pink petals decorated with green dots on the inner layer. The central disk is lime grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with 36 widely spaced round-tipped petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like a newborn baby.
The cactus's skin is delicate, the violet flesh is smooth, and the copper sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
The leaves are high in natural sugars.
