Bloodvine

This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 140 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several flexible, straight stems covered in rough, black bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.

The branches trail down to the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of tiny, thin, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are found in green and amber varieties, rigid and leathery.

It produces lots of tiny, magenta flowers with pleated petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have no scent. In early winter it forms medium-sizedblood red, shelled seeds.
