Blackvine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This colossal shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for around 10 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous stocky, curved stems covered in waxy, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are long and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of huge, thin, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are olive on the sides and green at the center, delicate and fuzzy.

In mid-summer it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, red flowers with needle-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like bleach.

All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
