Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely frail.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
