Creamy Moss

This light brown or cream moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is overwhelmingly delicate; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
