Indigo vine

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 5 feet (1.5 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 5 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The long, tapering, rough leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are green at the bottom and vibrant red with indigo zig-zags at the top, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of giant green flowers.
