Amber Spine Succulent

This big caudiciform grows up to 18 feet (5.5 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is amber, and is covered in brittle orange spines. The curved, bright yellow trunk can grow to as much as 18 feet (5.5 meters) in diameter at the top. Its pink-red branches trail down to the ground and start growing at the base the stem.

The sparse amounts of tattered-edged, finger-like leaves are either sky blue, or peach with ashy yellow splotches. They are strong, and detach easily.

It is very slow growing, taking 44 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with black petals that gradient shift to blood red on the outer edge. The central disk is green grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 59 petals. It has an intense scent that smells like citrus.

The caudiciform's skin is delicate, the black flesh is rough, and the turquoise sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
