Copper

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized cactus grows up to 28 feet (8.5 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is copper, and is dotted with small red spines. The wedge-shaped body is yellow-green, and is covered in dozens of flexible red spines.

It is quick growing, taking 9 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with petals that are orange in the center, amber in the middle and amber at the edges grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 53 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a strong scent that smells like onion.

The cactus's skin is thick, the drab green flesh is smooth, and the bold orange sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.

It is suitable for making strong rope
